Distributed Generation with Capacity for 10 Kilowatts or Less


The following information applies to customers who generate their own electricity on-site via a small scale generator (10 kilowatts or less) which is, or can be, connected to MainPower's electricity network.

Step 1: Read the following documentation thoroughly

Step 2: Fill in the following forms

Step 3: MainPower will contact you to confirm reciept of your connection notification and if correctly completed, grant final approval.

Step 4: Connect your distributed generation system to MainPower's network.

Step 5: Notify MainPower of your connection
