Welcome to MainPower Trust
The MainPower Trust is the organisation that owns the shares of MainPower New Zealand Limited on trust for the benefit of the communities of North Canterbury and Kaikoura and for Qualifying Customers. More than 90 per cent of MainPower customers are Qualifying Customers.
The MainPower Trust has seven Trustees. The Trustees are elected every three years by the Qualifying Customers.
MainPower New Zealand Limited owns and operates the electricity distribution network and provides electricity line services to premises in the North Canterbury and Kaikoura region.
